Banbridge Hospitalise Musgrave

B Team Romp to 83 Shot Win

Banbridge Junior team entered Musgrave in the 1st round of the I.B.A Gouldings Junior Cup in Banbridge

A solid performance from Jim Hamiltons Rink eased the nerves for the home side. Jims Rink of Tom Blackwood, Sam Blakely and Dale O’Keefe were always in command and eased to a convincing 44-13 Win.

Jackie Scott defeated W.Murphy 23-14

President William Steenson defeated J.O’Neill 39-11

Mark Campbell defeated P.Fegan 23-8.

A Good Performance all round but stiffer challenges lie ahead

Banbridge now make the trip to Randlestown to play Old Bleach in the second round on the 23rd May.

Senior Team ease to Carrick win

Late Kick off but early start for A Team

The 5.30 Kick off (moved for television purposes!) was played on a lovely saturday evening. Inspired from the B teams win earlier in the afternoon. The A Team started where the B team left off. A 7 point win and a 67 shot win was the perfect response to last Saturdays 6-1 defeat at Bangor

Bann Rinks started well all scoring in the first end.  There was no let up for the Carrick rinks as they seemed outbowled over the green

Brendan’s Rink of A.O’Keefe, Mervyn Bingham and Davy Craig romped to a 30-7 win over Carricks Kieth Walker on Rink 4.

The win now takes Brendan top of the shot scoring table with a shot difference of +43 scoring 75 shots in just 3 games!

Gregs Rink was the next best performer they won 30-8 over Allister Murphy. Infact Greg faced a daunting prospect of going to the head 7 down only to draw shot, well done.

Charlies rink defeated R.Weatherup 29-13

Dans rink completed the rout just before dark 20-14.

Next up for the A team is a potential banana skin at Portadown next Saturday 14th. Game starts at 2pm
